Adobe Customization Wizard Error code 14
I'm trying to build an Adobe Acrobat package following the instructions from http://tv.adobe.com/watch/acrobat-it-tips-tricks-tutorials/customization-wizard-xi-for-mac -os-x/. When I try to create the final package the Wizard errors out showing a code 14. I looked that up and got this: The APTEE tool called from within returned an error. See /tmp/oobelib.log for details. I'm attaching the logs because I cannot figure out why the package is not being created. I can't figure out why the serial number is not being validated.
Any help would be appreciated.

Uninstalling Adobe Acrobat DC - Silently on a MAC
I have looked over this site and have found ways to manually remove the software. Is there a way to silently remove it from a MAC?

UPdating Adobe Reader DC via SCCM
We would like to update Adobe Reader DC to the latest version via msp files via SCCM. Is there an easy way to deploy the msp updates via SCCM? What is the best practice for these updates deployments? What is the best way to install Adobe reader DC and its updates during OS deployment - software disstribution?
Adobe Reader DC (2019.010.20098) US-EN Welcome.PDF Freezes
In our organization we do not Sign-On to Adobe Cloud using Adobe Reader. We used the Adobe Customization Wizard to disable Sign-on to Adobe Cloud.
We have had some people in our org click on thee Welcome.PDF after launching Reader and reader would freeze. Once we close Reader with Task Manager, we can open any pdf, except for Welcome.pdf.
My question:
When someone tries to open the Welcome.PDF from Reader that does not have an Adobe Sign-On account. IS Adobe Reader trying to go to Adobe Cloud to open the Welcome.PDF?
If that is so, I would like to open a bug on this issue, with a suggestion to resolve is issue and help improve the Adobe Brand.
Suggested Solution:
- Allow the Welcome.PDF to be an option in the Adobe Customization Wizard.
- This will allow the System Administrator to Select how the Welcome.PDF will be accessed from
- Can be used to point to the Cloud Location with the correct link.
- Or Can be used to Point to Public Facing, allowing those organization that do not use the Adobe Sign-on to access the Welcome.PDF.
- Or the System Administrator can select a location where the file can be placed on the workstation.
- Or chose not to have the Adobe Welcome.PDF and remove it from Recent
- This will allow the System Administrator to Select how the Welcome.PDF will be accessed from
Adobe Acrobat SharePoint OpenDocuments Component
Ok so I've got a SharePoint 2013 environment on Server 2012 R2 and Adobe Acrobat 2017 standard edition on Windows 10
Working with Microsoft I've tweaked SharePoint so that when you click on a link to a pdf within SharePoint then it opens within Adobe Acrobat outside of the browser without issue.
When I select the same file and click edit though I get a pop-up message saying "We're sorry, we couldn't find a program to open this document".
According to the Microsoft tech the outstanding edit issue is because in the Manage-Add On section of IE / Edge the add on "Adobe Acrobat SharePoint OpenDocuments Component" is installed, but disabled and the option to enable is greyed out.
He indicates if I can get this add-on to work my error should go away. The difficult part is this is deployed enterprise why so I have to come up with a deployable solution.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
How to disable protected mode in Adobe DC using cust wizard?
Hi does anyone know how I can disable protected mode at startup in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC either using the customization wizard or using the registry? I have found articles for version XI and version 10 but not sure if these will work with DC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks

Deploy DC Reader with error Error 1334. the file 'natives_blob.bin' cannot be installed
Hello all experts,
Here are the steps that I've done. Please let me know where I did wrong
I downloaded from the adobe ftp a reader AcroRdrDC1800920044_en_US.exe and extract it to get the MSI file using a run command as:
AcroRdrDC1800920044_en_US.exe -nos_o"%homepath%\desktop\ReaderDC"
after the extract, I get a folder including the MSI file and a AcroRdrDCUpd1800920044.msp file.
I slipstreamed that msp file using: msiexec /qb /a acroread.msi /p AcroRdrDCUpd1800920044.msp
Then do the Adobe DC customization to get the transform mst file
Finally I rand msiexec /I Acroread.msi transforms="Acroread.mst"
and I get the error 1334. the file 'natives_blob.bin' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet file.
Can I anyone help?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best!
Automatic update for Acrobat Reader DC does not update
I have a computer lab all installed with Acrobat Reader DC. Some of them are on version 2019.008.20071, and some are on 2019.008.20074. We are having an issue with the header being cut off / trimmed when printing in Acrobat Reader version 2019.008.20071, but prints perfectly fine in version 2019.008.20074. Why is it that some PCs are able to update automatically, and others are not? How can I trigger the automatic update for all the PCs, and not have to manually update each computer 1 by 1? All PCs have the AdobeARMservice started.
How to get Adobe Reader DC .Msi file for Intune Deployment.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - Disable Start Free Trial
Hi,
Need to roll out Adobe Acrobat Reader DC MUI 19.008.20080 to 50,000+ machines. When launching a PDF, I get a 'Start Free Trial' in the bottom right hand corner. Whilst the majority or users wouldn't be able to download and install this, I want to remove this as a best practice for a large corporate environment.
NB - bAcroSuppressUpsell = 1 already set via policy key/Adobe Customisation wizard but made no difference.

SCCM 1806 - Third Party Patching of Adobe Reader fails with error 1615
I am using SCCM's Third-Party patching tool and I'm having a problem updating Adobe Reader DC on approximately 40 PCs. These are all Windows 7 64-Bit Enterprise machines. Most of these machines have been in production for about 5 years or more. I have been trying to get these to update by performing a clean install. I have already used the Adobe Reader cleanup tool (both versions for Reader and DC) and I have ran these twice before installing Adobe Reader. The version that has been installed is 19.008.20071. I have an update that I have been trying to push to these 40 machines is Adobe Reader DC 19.008.20074. Adobe Reader DC 19.008.20074 is failing like all other previous updates. Just to let everyone know, these issues happened after we attempted to push Adobe Reader DC continuous track on all our machines. For some reason these 40 machines just failed. They failed to properly uninstall all old versions of Adobe reader, and even after the Adobe Reader cleaner, I still cannot push updates after a fresh clean install. Any help will be appreciated. Also to note, we have some Group Policies in place for Adobe Reader 11 and Adobe Reader DC, but I do not think this would have this kind of adverse effect. And, we have established at our organization that we will not auto patch any 3rd party products.

Many Thanks
CW
Thanks,
Disabling SharePoint integration
Hi I need some help
I have an SharePoint online Mapped as a WebDAV on my Machine,
however each time I tried to open a PDF, it shows a pop up of check out.....
I have read some forums where I was told to do an
Disabling SharePoint integrationhttp://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/planning.html#disabling-share point-integration
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\FeatureLockDown\cSharePoint]
"bDisableSharePointFeatures"=dword:00000001
However the issue still persist.
I am using Adobe Acrobat XI 11.0.12
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and SCCM deployment
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but the "contact us for help" options just kept sending me to the same page over and over again.
I recently jumped through all the hoops attempting to push Adobe Acrobat Pro DC through our SCCM server and have run into several issues. For one, it will not actually call the Acrobat Pro installation to put it onto the computer. It does however show that it is "installed" when you log into the cloud on said PC. Has anyone had issues with this before?
We are running SCCM version 1511. Thank you very much.
Does an Acrobat 2017 Customization Wizard exist? (Not for Acrobat DC)
I'm trying to customize a deployment of Acrobat 2017 Standard.
Specifically, I'd like to remove all cloud storage functionality (like the Dropbox integration) for DLP purposes.
I see lots of documentation surrounding the customization of DC deployments but no mention of Acrobat 2017 Standard (or Pro).
Could someone point me to the appropriate downloads and documentation?
Targets for this install will be Windows 10 1703.
Ideally the customized installer would be in a format that can be installed silently.
Thanks!
Adobe AcroCEF has stopped working
We have 4 identical terminal servers and one is producing this error seconds after opening a PDF. It occurs with local files and files from a file server. The error can be minimized and the user can still work with the program. This happens will all users both admin and non-admin. Protected View is turned off and we're using Acrobat Standard DC 2015. Thanks in advanced for your help.
adobe dc pro install patch update to customized install
We are using a stand alone version of Adobe DC Pro (15.006.30033.2205) (no other Adobe products). Windows 7 32-bit environment. I have used the Adobe customization tool to create a custom install package. I now need to update this package with the latest patch from Adobe to correct a recent security patch.
Ideally I'd like to make a new customized installer package as this allows us to disable the Adobe Sign-In feature, which our agency will never use.
I am trying to use: msiexec /i acropro.msi PATCH="Acrobat2015Upd1500630280.msp" TRANSFORMS="AcroPro.mst"
The .mst file was created by the customization tool. However, when I run this command, I get the error:
"This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package."
I have attempted uninstall and reboot and cleaning the registry of previous installation of Adobe DC Pro without any luck.
Can someone provide guidance on how to create a new customized install with the latest patch and still have the Adobe Sign-In option disabled?
