Hi - Is it possible to disable or remove these for evey user? We use Adobe Reader X. I've read a few blogs saying you should use a JavaScript but the ones I've found don't work with this version. Doesn't look like they can be removed using the registry either and even AppSense can't lock them both out. The reason for doing this is that it sometimes hangs Outlook to the point where we have to kill it in task manager.

Disabling SharePoint integration
Hi I need some help
I have an SharePoint online Mapped as a WebDAV on my Machine,
however each time I tried to open a PDF, it shows a pop up of check out.....
I have read some forums where I was told to do an
Disabling SharePoint integrationhttp://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/planning.html#disabling-share point-integration
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\FeatureLockDown\cSharePoint]
"bDisableSharePointFeatures"=dword:00000001
However the issue still persist.
I am using Adobe Acrobat XI 11.0.12
Reader DC Appv Package crash.
Hello,
I'm trying to sequence Acrobat Reader DC with AppV 5.1
I followed the deploiment guide : https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/VirtualizationGuide/appvreaderDC.html
Everything seems to works well, I put my package on my app-v server, publish it in global mode and when I try to open the app : it keeps crashing.
I found some tips on technet forum asking to disable arm service (https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/f4358ecb-72ad-4cfa-9498-8d7009db 3d7b/error-when-starting-adobe-reader-11-appv-package?forum=mdopappv ) but I got the same issue.
After checking the Event log I don't understand how to fix the issue (error log at the end of the post)
Anyone got some idea ?
Thanks,
Nicolas.

Acrobat 2017 Pro Fails to automatically upgrade with 1706 error
We have Acrobat pro 2017 here installed for about 150 users. We deployed the 2017.008.30051 version and used the Customization wizard (CustWiz1502020039_en_US_DC) to dial in many settings for the software (we created a transform file that does this and it works well). We originally had deployed the software with the upgrade disabled, but have since decided we would like to get automatic updates enabled. We found the appropriate registry settings to get that process started:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Adobe\Adobe ARM\1.0\ARM]
"iLogLevel"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\2017]
"Check"=dword:00000001
"Mode"=dword:00000003
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\2017\FeatureLockDown]
"bUpdater"=dword:00000001
We have tested this on the 008.30051 version, as well as the .011.30096 version, but have found that though the update process starts, it fails out claiming no valid source file could be found. From the ARM service logs, I can see the update fails with a 1706 error after it downloads the current upgrade file for adobe 2017 (Acrobat2017Upd1701130127.msp) and at least makes an attempt to execute it. Our goal is to get the 150 installs that are deployed successfully upgrading to the current version of Adobe without having to manually upgrade each one, and keep that automated process in place going forward. We can push out those group policies easily, but we are missing something else since after repeated testing, we keep ending up in the same boat.
Other things we know:
-these installs will upgrade successfully if you manually check for updates within Acrobat
-using the downloaded .msp file will also successfully upgrade the 2017 installs (that file is not corrupt)
-Arm is running at: Adobe ARM 1.824.31.1644
Below is the chunk of the Adobe Arm log where it fails to upgrade:

What is the best way to administrate multiple licenses of acrobat pro?
Hello,
i want to deploy four copys of adobe acrobat pro to specific computers / employes but still be able to have controll over the licenses. I already have the four licences so switching to a cloud product is no option for me. Is it possible to registrate all copys on a single adobe id or do i need an enterprise id? Does every employee need an own adobe id or can i deploy acrobat without the user noticing anything about adobe accounts?
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
User unable to open Acrobat
I have just installed Acrobat DC on a users machine. I am able to run it OK on my login (a domain admin account), but they are unable to open it at all (tried as a regular user and as a local admin).
Program appearers in task manager for a second and then closes. I have had it running on this logon before but it was closing Acrobat after being open for 30 seconds.
Currently running the latest version of DC on a fully patched windows 7 Pro laptop.
How to disable automatic update of Adobe Acrobat 2017 Pro?
In an enterprise environment we should be able to control the software version that we deploy to our systems. With Adobe Reader everything works fine but this Adobe Acrobat 2017 Pro is a little bit stubborn and decided to update himself even that the Adobe Acrobat Update service is disabled. Can you please provide us a solution to this issue? We want to disable automatic updates for Adobe Acrobat 2017 Pro. Thank you.
Problem with adding IdP certificate with Acrobat
Hello
Maybe someone in here can assist me. So i am trying to get Single Sign On to work for our organization.
When in the configure directory section i follow the sets provided to copy the cert we use for our AD FS and when i click save i get an error saying
"There was a problem saving your configuration - check the values you entered and make sure you are uploading a valid (PEM base64-encoded X.509) certificate."
I did save the cert as a base64-encoded x.509 cert too from the FS server.
Is there anything else i could try or any other work around for this anyone might know?
Thank you

Creative Cloud Updates Acrobat XI to DC
Hello we are having an issue in our organization with Creative Cloud and Acrobat XI. This problem exists on ANY computer that has Acrobat XI installed alongside a CC application. The problem is the Adobe CC application sees Acrobat XI as Acrobat DC. This occurs regardless of which program is installed first. In the images below the computer has Acrobat XI, and Premiere Pro installed. You can see in the first image the CC app sees Acrobat DC installed and offers to update it. The second image shows the Programs and Features window, Acrobat DC is not installed.
This is a problem because we configure our CC deployments to allow the user to update their application(s) without admin approval. When the user updates all their apps, the CC application takes the liberty of updating Acrobat XI to Acrobat DC. Since the user isn't licensed to use Acrobat DC it runs as a 7 day trial. When the trial expires, the user is unable to open files or print to PDF with out re-installing Acrobat XI. THIS IS REALLY FRUSTRATING. As you can see in the image below after clicking update, Acrobat XI has been replaced by Acrobat DC:
Even after uninstalling Acrobat DC, restarting the computer, re-installing Acrobat XI, and fully patching it. The CC application still sees Acrobat XI as DC and offers to update it. So the next time the user updates their CC apps, the Acrobat Xi will be uninstalled again restarting the process:
I have tested installing Acrobat XI before and after the Adobe CC applications but I still get the same result. This even occurs on fresh installs of Windows and after I've run the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool on older laptops. I'm beginning to think the software is designed to work this way: To force users off their perpetual license software into a trial that asks them to buy a license in 7 days. Has anyone else experienced this issue and know how to fix it?
Thanks,
Cannot ENABLE SharePoint Integration.
Our organization has a Sharepoint 2013 deployment and uses Acrobat Pro XI. We use document libraries with with check in/check out and verioning enabled. When opening a PDF from within a library, the document opens in Acrobat without issue but we do not receive any prompts to check the document out. This prevents us even from manually checking out the document in sharepoint, opening the document, saving the document back to sharepoint because Acrobat tries to save it to a local AppData Temp directory. I've seen a thousand answered posts about how to DISABLE SharePoint integration, but I'm just looking to get this functionality in the first place. The problem could be related to a SharePoint setting but I cannot cind such a setting. Our office documents prompt for checkout when opened as they should - Just not PDFs.
***Some additional information: From Acrobat, if I click File>Open, then select "open from online account" and connect to my sharepoint server I can check in and out, but some of our libraries are over 9GB and cause Acrobat to crash every time I try to open the library, so this is apparently not an option for us (although it would be nice!!!).
Thanks!
Prevent Acrobat update from installing the Chrome extension
Hi all,
It appears the latest Acrobat update installs an extension for Google Chrome. Is there any way to prevent this?
I am aware that it would be possible to block the extension using the "Configured extension blacklist" Google Chrome group policy, but I don't want to block it entirely, just prevent it from installing automatically.
Account Confirmation
When a document is opened in Acrobat DC, a pop-up appears asking "Are you still [my email address]? If yes, click continue." Used on the same enterprise computer, email the same, Adobe sign-in the same every day. Is there a way to stop the pop-up?
Disabling SharePoint integration

Allow standalone Acrobat deployment with CCE serial"?
Hi
I'm trying to make an Acrobat DC deployment package. We are a CCE customer. I'm yet to have success with Acrobat DC deployments. They tend to work at first, then the prompt for sign-in comes back, or the product claims to not be activated. In any case, here are the steps I'm taking, please tell me whether or not it looks like I'm doing this right. And most of all, what I'm supposed to do with the checkbox that offers me to "allow standalone Acrobat deployment with CCE serial... This is new, and thus far, I have not been able to find any documentation that explains what it is. Not even the "Help" window that displays for each page addresses it. Questions are in bold.
- Make Acrobat DC package using CCP. I uncheck the "Creative Cloud Desktop Application", as this package should be strictly the latest version of Acrobat. Though, I do want admin users to be able to update their own software.
- I open Acrobat Customization Wizard DC and proceed to open C:\[path]\Acrobat Pro DC\Build\Setup\APRO15.0\Adobe Acrobat\AcroPro.msi. All defaults are left default unless noted in the following steps.
- Since this is a package made with CCP, I leave the serial number field blank.
- Personalization
- In this scenario (am a CCE customer, configuring a package to be deployed via SCCM) what should I do with "Allow standalone Acrobat deployment with CCE serial"?
- Check- Suppress display of EULA
- Installation Options
- Remove all versions of Reader
- Silently
- Suppress reboot
- Online Services and Features
- Check- Disable Upsell
- Check- Disable SignOut
- Check- Disable all services
- Save the package.
- Save the entire folder to the application share for SCCM
- Open SCCM > Software Library > Create Application
- Windows Installer (some things say to use the installer, other things say to use the MSI. Please explain!)
- Browse to location of AcroPro.msi
- Fill in Application details
- Installation program: msiexec /i "AcroPro.msi" TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst /q
- Is this the right installation program? Should I change from msi to exe? Does the transform and /q switch look right?
- Personalization
So far, the application will deploy and install fine, but "Sign In Required" pops up immediately upon opening a PDF, which feels like neither the work pulling down the app from CCP, or switching the MST is making any difference. Also, I want to make this part of a OSD task sequence. What else do I need to do to this package in order for it to install as part of a task sequence, activated and not requiring sign in?
Thanks for your help!

How to remove "add account" in Reader DC
I am testing new package deployments of Adobe Reader DC prior to releasing it.
I have used the customization tool for Adobe Reader DC to create a MST file so its a tailored install. The only thing it seems is, I can not alter or remove is the "add account" for Microsoft Share-Point.
At this time our organization does not have Share-Point and possibly not anytime soon.
How can I remove/disable that option? I would rather not spend the administrative overhead on training end user to ignore that it exists.
