Hallo,

wenn ich ein Paket des Reader DC mit dem Customisation Wizzard bearbeitet habe, fehlt in den Einstellungen die Option "Dokumente als neue Registerkarten im selben Fenster öffnen".

Die Option wird im Wizard nicht angeboten und nach der Installation auch nicht in den Voreinstellungen "Allgemein" angezeigt.

Wird das Paket manuell installiert ist die Option vorhanden.

Auch hilft ein Eingriff in die Registry nicht. Egal wieviel ich HKLM\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC austausche.

Auch die Änderung des Parameters: HKLM\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVGeneral\bSDIMode zeigt keine Wirkung.

Ich verwende den Wizard "CustWiz1501620039_en_US_DC.exe" und das Reader DC Paket "AcroRdrDC1501620039_de_DE.exe".

Ist da eine falsche Paketkombionation?

Hat hier jemmand eine Lösung?

In Acrobat Pro DC lateest version I can not see the box to turn on tabs that i believe is suppose to be in General Preference any help as to were this is would be helpful

We routinely update Acrobat with the latest patch using the same methodology every time. Since 11.0.0.14 or 11.0.0.15, this has always worked fine (Windows7 x64):

msiexec /p <patchname>.msp /a <location of AIP created from the original installation media DVD)>\acropro.msi

With the patch for 11.0.0.18, this process completed successfully. However there is a problem. In the newly created AIP, "acropro.msi" is not there.

I have tried numerous methods including using a completely different workstation with brand new files copied directly from the original installation media. Our methodology has not changed.

Have they changed the location of acropro.msi in the resulting AIP, or is this patch messed up?

Please help.

I just downloaded Acrobat Pro. Everything I have attempted to edit tells me it is already signed and cannot be edited. This is not the case and I want to know if there is any way to edit pdfs I have already created? I have not signed anything because I just downloaded PRO today and that was not a free option.

Does anyone know how to correct this?

I'm trying to make an Acrobat DC deployment package. We are a CCE customer. I'm yet to have success with Acrobat DC deployments. They tend to work at first, then the prompt for sign-in comes back, or the product claims to not be activated. In any case, here are the steps I'm taking, please tell me whether or not it looks like I'm doing this right. And most of all, what I'm supposed to do with the checkbox that offers me to "allow standalone Acrobat deployment with CCE serial... This is new, and thus far, I have not been able to find any documentation that explains what it is. Not even the "Help" window that displays for each page addresses it. Questions are in bold.

1. Make Acrobat DC package using CCP. I uncheck the "Creative Cloud Desktop Application", as this package should be strictly the latest version of Acrobat. Though, I do want admin users to be able to update their own software.
2. I open Acrobat Customization Wizard DC and proceed to open C:\[path]\Acrobat Pro DC\Build\Setup\APRO15.0\Adobe Acrobat\AcroPro.msi. All defaults are left default unless noted in the following steps.
3. Since this is a package made with CCP, I leave the serial number field blank.
   1. Personalization
      1. In this scenario (am a CCE customer, configuring a package to be deployed via SCCM) what should I do with "Allow standalone Acrobat deployment with CCE serial"?
      2. Check- Suppress display of EULA
   2. Installation Options
      1. Remove all versions of Reader
      2. Silently
      3. Suppress reboot
   3. Online Services and Features
      1. Check- Disable Upsell
      2. Check- Disable SignOut
      3. Check- Disable all services
   4. Save the package.
   5. Save the entire folder to the application share for SCCM
   6. Open SCCM > Software Library > Create Application
      1. Windows Installer (some things say to use the installer, other things say to use the MSI. Please explain!)
      2. Browse to location of AcroPro.msi
      3. Fill in Application details
      4. Installation program: msiexec /i "AcroPro.msi"  TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst /q
         1. Is this the right installation program? Should I change from msi to exe? Does the transform and /q switch look right?

So far, the application will deploy and install fine, but "Sign In Required" pops up immediately upon opening a PDF, which feels like neither the work pulling down the app from CCP, or switching the MST is making any difference. Also, I want to make this part of a OSD task sequence. What else do I need to do to this package in order for it to install as part of a task sequence, activated and not requiring sign in?

I got a problem with the Acrobat Pro DC and my Wacom Intuos 4 graphic tablet.

If I open a PDF document it is not possible to use the cursor- or the hand-symbol for highlighting a text or something. I always "paint" on PDF documents with a red pencil. With hand or cursor it is the same.

When I am using my trackpad or trackball Acrobat will work correct. I am using WIndows 10 pro 64bit with 24RAM and i7 CPU. I also tried another Wacom and it is the same problem. I also refresh my driver - no solution.

I had contact to the support chat but they couldn't help me.

Has anyone an idea? Thanks a lot in advance.

I had previously created an admin installation point using the non-mui 11.0.0 MSI and the 11.0.03 quarterly update.  This installed fine for all our users.

Now I'm trying to create one for 11.0.4.  I can't find the non-mui version of the 11 base MSI anymore from the Adobe distribution site.  Does anyone know where I can find that?  I know the one I used was not MUI, since when I look in my Programs and Features list, 11.0.03 is listed (not 11.0.03 MUI).

I've now downloaded the 11.0.0 MUI and updated it with 11.0.04 MUI.  I have the transfrom file set in the Adobe customization wizard to remove all versions of Reader that is already installed.  But when I install 11.0.04 MUI, it doesn't remove 11.0.03.  They both show in Programs and Features.  11.0.03 has to be uninstalled separately.

And just for kicks, I made a 11.0.03 MUI installation package and uninstalled all other Reader versions from my machine. Then I tried installing the 11.0.04 MUI AIP package, and got this message: "Another version of this product is already installed.  Installation of this version cannot continue.  To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel".

Does 11.0.04 require uninstallation of the aip 11.0.03 package first?

I bought a copy of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and was unable to download on my laptop.  Need instructions on how to proceed.

I am upgrading reader on a terminal server. I don't want the 'Acrobat Security Settings' dialog box popping up asking to import settings the first time each user opens a signature enabled pdf. Is there a way to avoid this?

It appears the latest Acrobat update installs an extension for Google Chrome. Is there any way to prevent this?

I am aware that it would be possible to block the extension using the "Configured extension blacklist" Google Chrome group policy, but I don't want to block it entirely, just prevent it from installing automatically.

I am trying to upgrade our PC and laptop estate to acrobat 10.1, they are currently on 9.3.4.

I have created an AIP for 10.0 and applied the 10.1 patch to this.

There is also a MST file created using the Adobe customization wizard. With this we have turned off the MS Office and IE integration and also requested that the old version of acrobat be uninstalled.

My question is, is there a switch that will prevent the installer checking if any MS Office products and IE are open? I am getting an msiexec error 1602 because of this.

I would of thought that seeing as there is no integration with these products on either 9.3.4 or 10.1 then Acrobat would install whether any of these products are open

My environment implemented strict UAC policies. This hinders users from Installing updates. Is it possible to centrally manage updates through WSUS. If not, are there tools to manage Adobe Updates centrally?

I have used the customization wizard, input my serial number and every time I install the Acrobat package I am prompted to Sign In to Activate my software.

In the customization wizard I have tried to click "Grant Offline Exception", but I get an error every time (log at bottom).

I need to find a way to disable this box as the users that have the software will not have an associated Adobe account to activate the software.

Can anyone help?

I have tried to make a "Adobe Runtimes / Reader Distribution License Agreement" (twice) - https://distribute.adobe.com/mmform/index.cfm?name=distribution_form&pv=fp

But I don't got any mail "Adobe Software Distribution Request - TrackID:xxxxxx-xxxxxxxx" - where I can download the software I want to distribute in our company. What is wrong ?

Hello, we having issue while combining Microsoft Excel and MS Word files receiving following error: "missing PDFMaker files". same issue occurs on 20 other servers with different Acrobat Pro licenses. I suspect it started to occur after Windows patching but removing Patches is not a solution.

OpenIn button is missing from "Acrobat Reader for Microsoft Intune" after version 16.12.15.

The button is there before but dissapeared after I update the app, which prevents transferring PDF files into OneDrive and DropBox.

Acrobat Reader not for Intune has the button.

Will the button back in the future?

I want to know how can I transfer files with OpenIn.

I just downloaded Acrobat Pro. Everything I have attempted to edit tells me it is already signed and cannot be edited. This is not the case and I want to know if there is any way to edit pdfs I have already created? I have not signed anything because I just downloaded PRO today and that was not a free option.

Does anyone know how to correct this?

I'm working on a Citrix XenDesktop deployment with Windows 10, both persistent and non-persistent desktops.

I've followed the instructions listed here - Common Deployment Options and Methods — Enterprise Administration Guide to serialize my master images, and that works fine. I run the APTEE, generate the XML and serialize my masters. All works successfully, no errors in the log. The original install was done using a MSI transform from the customization wizard that disables cloud features and sets some program defaults. Grant offline exception is also in there.

The issue comes in when I deploy the images. Even though the master is serialized, when a user launches DC for the first time it prompts them for a sign in. Here is where it gets interesting, although it prompts for a sign in, if you cancel out of the popup the program runs fine. Close and relaunch Acrobat and it opens as it should, no sign in prompt. This happens for both my persistent and non-persistent images.

I looked through the logs (oobelib in %temp%), and it looks like on first launch (for every user) Acrobat is doing something like this:

• Acrobat checks the licensing, sees that it's not licensed
• Displays the sign in prompt
• Meanwhile in the background it continues the license check
• Eventually (after about 15 - 20 seconds) it sees that it's licensed and reports back all good
• But never gets rid of the sign in prompt

I could let this go for my staff using persistent desktops by just telling them to close the prompt on first logon, but not for my student labs.

Has anyone ever seen this behavior before? Is there a way around this?

We are installing acrobat pro with GP on XP systems. The install goes fine but on some users machines when they launch the program it comes back with

"Cannot use this product under a guest account". The users are admins on the system. If I uninstall acrobat pro 10 and reinstall in manually the same error happens. (note these systems had acrobat pro 9 installed, but was un-installed with the acrobat pro 10 MST)

I am trying to create an installer for Adobe Acrobat 11 Pro. I have used the customization wizard to create a transform file for the install and specified it to be silent. However, it appears that windows are still opening in the background when the installer runs, which causes my department's automated installer service to close out of the install thinking the installer is "broken."

The windows appear to be "Moving ____ to recycle bin" messages, meaning the Acrobat MSI is moving the setup files rather than deleting them completely.

Is there a way to change this behavior in order to make the installer delete the files instead of moving them?

The command is currently:
