update from 8.1.4 to 8.1.5 using SMS 2003

I am attempting to upate Acrobat reader 8.1.4 to 8.1.5 on about 600 machines.

We have had SMS for a while but never really used it to deploy software.

A couple of months ago I created an 8.1.3 full install advertisement customized with the Adobe customization wizard 8, it removes all versions 6 and 7 auto accepts the license agreement and disables the updater. This package is working.

I created an advertisement for the 8.1.4 patch, and this package is working.

I have just downloaded the 8.1.5 patch, the download is failing on pretty much every client. The sms log shows me this:

"An error occurred while preparing to run the program for advertisement "0012000C" ("00100008" - "Adobe Acrobat 8.15"). The operating system reported error 2147942402: The system cannot find the file specified. Additional program properties:
Command line: "Acrobat 8.15 patch\AdbeRdrUpd815.msp"
Working directory:
Drive letter (? = any):"

The patch is set to run with admin privliages, and users cannot interact with it. It is chained to ensure that the 8.1.4 patch has run correctly before installing as the Adobe documentation on the patch says it required 8.1.4 impling it is not cumulative. There are no special

The patch is on the same server and in the same root share as 8.1.3 and 4.

I have tried: checking all the obivous settings for the package ensuring they match the 8.14 patch which is working.

I have refreshed the distribution point manually,

Redownloaded the patch twice to rule out a plain old bad download.

I had my coworker look at it.

I have googled the error number i get with no luck.

I have also used the advanced client spy from the sms toolkit and find nothing out the ordinary on the client side.

I am running out of ideas. Does anyone know why this is happening or is there anything diffrent that I must do to for the 8.1.5 patch that did not apply to previous versions?
